The silverplated "Perles" cutlery from Christofle looks magnificent, feels good and lies perfectly in the hand. A delicate but prominent pearl pattern surrounds the handles of this cutlery set from the famous French silversmith.
Indeed, this characteristic pearl decoration has been used to adorn Christofle’s silverplated "Perles" cutlery since 1890. This ornamental style is based on the famous French artistic design know as Louis Seize, a style that enjoyed great popularity about one hundred years earlier in 1790.
While the classic and popular design of an elegant row of pearls on the handles is not an invention by Christofle, the "Perles" cutlery line has shown itself to be a particularly elegant series which brings out the classic ornamental features in an outstandingly attractive way.
